
Steven Dhondt (Prof., PhD) is a leading observer in Europe on the impact of technology on work and organisation. He sees technology as a tool that many stakeholders in organisations can shape to their interests. Steven is currently senior researcher at TNO and professor at the University of Leuven (Belgium). His research programme at TNO is on “Smart Working”, how to use new virtual, augmented and AI technologies to support operators in production and services. He is the scientific coordinator of three major technological impact projects: Paradigms 4.0, Beyond 4.0 and GI-NI.
